We are seeking a highly skilled Freelance Graphic Designer who will not only deliver high-quality visual assets but also play a crucial role in shaping our unified brand presence across all digital platforms. This position requires someone who can handle the day-to-day design demands while also contributing to the development of a cohesive brand identity, ensuring that our visual storytelling is aligned with business goals and resonates with our audience.

The ideal candidate has a strong eye for design and experience in branding, is organized, and can think both creatively and strategically. You will work across social media, podcast, email, and video platforms, ensuring every design is not only beautiful but also deeply connected to the user experience and the broader goals of 143 Studios. This role is a critical part of building an orchestrated brand experience for one of the most followed and influential voices in personal development.

Responsibilities:

  • Graphic Design Execution:  
    • Design engaging visuals for social media, podcast promotion, YouTube thumbnails, and newsletters.
    • Ensure all visual content aligns with Mel Robbins’ brand identity, including digital ads, promotional collateral, course workbooks, and other graphic requests.
    • Maintain a high level of attention to detail and accuracy, even with tight deadlines.
  • Brand Consistency & Strategy:
    • Contribute to the development of a brand design system, ensuring that all creative outputs align with an overarching brand vision.
    • Establish a design pattern library, allowing for consistency and scalability across all platforms.
    • Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to create design solutions that are both visually compelling and strategically aligned with business objectives.
  • Collaboration & Cross-Platform Integration:
    • Work closely with the social, marketing, and content teams to deliver visuals that drive user engagement and conversions and integrate seamlessly into the overall digital experience, including websites, newsletters, and email campaigns.
    • Partner with external teams or freelance UX designers to elevate interaction design when needed, ensuring all touchpoints provide a cohesive experience.
  • Continuous Improvement & Trend Tracking:
    • Stay updated on design trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, particularly in digital, social, and brand design.
    • Lead efforts in refining the brand’s visual identity as new campaigns and products emerge.
    • Incorporate A/B testing data to continually refine design elements and improve conversion rates.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 
    • 3-5 years of graphic design experience with a focus on digital media (social, email, podcast, video).
    • A portfolio that demonstrates a strong grasp of design principles, branding, color theory, and typography.
    • Proven experience working across digital channels, including social media, newsletters, and websites.
  • Skills: 
    • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
    • Experience designing for multiple platforms with an understanding of design and user experience integration.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills; capable of handling multiple projects and tight deadlines.
