Freelance Graphic Designer

Freelance Position
Remote but preference given to those based in the Boston, MA metropolitan area.

We’re looking for a part-time freelance graphic designer who’s passionate about creating eye-catching and thumb-stopping designs that will inspire and motivate millions of people around the world.

You’ll be responsible for…

  • Creating compelling marketing collateral to promote our brand, products and services across digital, social, and print touch points 
  • Provide support as needed for Mel Robbins marketing needs; these include social media graphics, worksheets/workbooks, print and digital advertising, Giphys/digital stickers, email marketing campaigns, promotional collateral, and other general graphic requests
  • Uphold (and refine) established creative standards and brand consistency across all projects 
  • Able to contribute and brainstorm ideas and concepts for a variety of projects


You’re the ideal candidate for this position if you are…

  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite; Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop 
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience
  • Available 20-25 hours per week (Monday through Friday) 
  • Have the ability to work quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team 
  • Forensic attention to detail 
  • Are reliable and resourceful and know how to manage your time so deadlines (occasionally with tight turnarounds) are met 
  • Have a strong background in branding, typography and designing collateral across digital, social media and print
  • Possess high EQ and strong interpersonal skills; a team player, a positive go-getter and all-around good person 
  • While the position is largely remote, we are giving preference to candidates based within the Boston-metropolitan area for in-person support opportunities 
  • Knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro or After Effects is preferred
  • HTML/CSS experience is a plus

Social Media Community Manager

Full-time Position
Role based in Boston, MA

The Social Media Community Manager is the first direct line to our followers and fans and is responsible for day-to-day community engagement on social media and ensuring that our audience is heard, seen and celebrated. 

We’re looking for a proactive, positive and creative individual to support and grow our highly engaged online community. This entry level position requires someone who is obsessed with social media, is a practitioner and user of tools such as TikTok, Instagram and YouTube, while also keeping a pulse on what’s trending. 

Our mission is to inspire and motivate millions of people around the world, with our social media being their early morning destination for a daily boost. The person who will thrive in this role will feel most inspired and productive in the mornings, with weekday hours starting at 7am ET. 

 

You’ll be responsible for…

  • Engagement with our social followers to build relationships with the community and drive brand affinity
  • Answering community comments, questions and DMs. Escalating where necessary. 
  • Brand reputation management across social platforms (e.g. spam removal) 
  • Capturing content and questions to help us better serve our community 
  • Relay community feedback gained from online conversations within the community to internal stakeholders to drive content creation
  • Monitoring platforms and hashtags for content opportunities and initiating conversations (within guidelines as defined by team) 
  • Keeping up to date with the latest social trends/platform features and bringing fresh ideas on how to use them 
  • This position requires working during non-operating business hours, which may include weekends and holidays

 

You’re the ideal candidate for this position if you…

  • Have at least one (1) year of customer service experience via a digital platform 
  • Working towards a degree in Marketing, Public Relations or related field 
  • Excellent written and verbal skills 
  • Have the ability to work quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • Are reliable and resourceful and know how to manage your time so deadlines are met and followers are responded to promptly 
  • Possess high EQ and strong interpersonal skills; a team player, a positive go-getter and all-around good person 
  • Forensic attention to detail 
  • If you are a morning person, this is the perfect fit for you
  • While the position is remote, preference will be given to candidates based in the Boston-metropolitan area for in-person support opportunities
